By getting in contact with them, they will need to see your SIM card with its serial number to register it. 1. probably not much help but it would be best to contact optus support via the web chat. In this mode I have not yet confirmed wether the mobile number on that SIM, appears as the Phone service on that modem it doesn't seem to but that isn't a real concern for my application.
